When Australia broke off from the other continents millions of years ago, it developed many unusual plants and species seen nowhere else because it was cutoff from the world. this developed the Australian rangeland. The Australian rangeland has both very dry and very grass filled sections. Patches of Eucalyptus trees span over the area. The Australian locust is an Australian grasshopper that plagues the land and eats every plant in sight. Some of the unique animals include the Grey Kangaroo and the Flightless Emu which is as tall as a man.
What kind of other animals do you think live there?
